Of course all Muslims are informed that the month of Ramadan is a month full of grace and forgiveness. This month is a period that provides an excellent opportunity not only to cleanse themselves of all sins, but also increase the charity.
In addition to forging closer ties with other people, this month also can educate Muslims to join in helping the weak and difficult to groups like this can have a better life when enjoying the many donations and assistance. In Islamic tradition, this practice will increase the amount of their wages.
This month is also known as a month filled with many trials. Suspected in this month not only start from as early as the break of dawn until sunset, with the hungry and prevent thirst, but also alleged to maintain or increase the amount of the reward and welfare of Ramadan begins on the first day until the arrival of Syawal, and also in the next months. Because anyone who is fasting, but at the same time, acts of indecency and immorality still engage them, especially if their lives are far from the path of faith and piety, but what they have in the end it is not rewarded, but only hunger and thirst alone, something that is useless for those who fast. In this case, expectations to perform well at all times, and always will strive to maintain the wage earned is actually more difficult than initially thought to only hunger and thirst.
Also there is no denying that the most serious allegations at the moment is related to human nature, especially in connection with the desire to eat and drink. Of course when the day hungry without touching any food will make the seething desire. But with the helping of patience and istiqamah undergo this ritual, the feeling is able to run properly.Apart from some allegations that have been mentioned, there is another unexpected hit in the form of new Muslims during Ramadan in this year's outbreak of the H1N1 flu. Unexpected outbreak among humans feared this would become more serious with the advent of Ramadan as the free mobility within the Muslim community which indirectly facilitates the spread of the pandemic virus. This is because in this holy month, Muslims flocked to visit the Ramadhan bazaars to buy various food break fast. In addition, during the night, various levels of the Muslim community will visit the mosque and the mosque to pray in congregation terawikh and tazkirah. While many of them are concentrated in shopping centers for the provision of welcoming Aidulfitri.
Despite the anxiety of a pandemic hit communities around the world, it should be noted also that especially for Muslims, who appreciated the virtues of Ramadan and best practice will be able to help them avoid it. In general, the spread of flu among the reasons are related to individual attitudes that are not concerned with the level of health care and personal hygiene. However, the aspect of cleanliness is very high given special emphasis in the month of Ramadan. This is very clear that in this blessed month of Ramadhan, Muslims are required to serve racing and repentance, seeking forgiveness. Or in other words, cleanse themselves from every sin and stain. While the self-purification, of course include cleansing and hygiene of physical, spiritual and environmental. For this reason, Ramadan is a month of purification is synonymous, and it is not appropriate if the aspects of cleanliness and purity is ignored by all Muslims who are fasting.
Ethics of health care and personal hygiene in Islam requires practices such as cleansing with a clean and purify water, eat only kosher food and clean, do not waste and not to excess in everything. In the month of Ramadhan, excessive break or dawn meal is forbidden because it invites waste, even in the event of waste, it is downgraded, while the food is not halal and not continue to wage holy fasting will invalidate the obtained and made it just useless. The practice of prayer, and wash their hands before and after the meal, cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing, and when yawning and always wash your nose and face are often required to maintain the purity and hygiene.
Similarly, in the teachings of Islam, when a person rests diseases, hygiene practices can never be ignored. This is because the ethical hygiene when outbreaks hit in Islam is to turn away from a group of people that the epidemic is not infected or infecting others nearby because it could contaminate the purity and cleanliness of the environment and thus invite catastrophe. Basically, a disease may not be infectious in the absence of disease in the patient or those who did not menjangkitkannya to others in any way.
This description is to illustrate the virtues of Ramadan in preventing the spread of H1N1. It really is the basics that need to dive and practiced by all Muslims. However, people are often forgetful and careless, and always need a reminder. Therefore, during this Ramadhan, the council held after the prayer tazkirah tarawikh should also discuss the current situation that is hitting this. Religious institutions, especially those related to the norms of Islamic affairs such as the National Fatwa Council to participate to provide guidance for the welfare of Muslims in Ramadan or Hajj manjalani activities during this outbreak. Considering the number of deaths from H1N1 have increased every day, all segments of society should cooperate with each other for control of the situation.
